Statue of St Francis of Assisi overlooks Cagliari

Returning from a short walk in the cold wind which was blowing quite well, I sat listening to a CD by Friar Alessandro (voice from Assisi). He has a well developed tenor voice IMO and I understand any monies made goes to the Friary.

It reminded me of a picture I took last year on our visit to Corsica and Sardinia overlooking the salt lakes - unfortunately the many pink flamingos that reside here had taken the afternoon off but I was delighted to have captured the image below.
