Regarding the Sony I haven't as yet put it to great use, but what I have taken I'm most impressed with it.
I researched compact cameras for a few weeks before deciding on the RX100M3. From its introduction (Mk 1) and onwards to the current model I found many who enjoyed using it. I shall test it against the Olympus Stylus 1 we have in the next week or so. I'm more interested in the video capabilities which seem so far to fulfil my needs - I am not one who takes many videos but I wanted more from a camera I am already using, the camera requires a 64Gb SDXC card when using the XAVC S video format.
