  • Georgie "not safe for work" tattoos

First off happy new year to everone. Lets hope its a good one full of cracking photos and stories to tell.

I shot these at the very end of last year Dec the 28th Really wanted to shoot someone with great looking tattoos and Georgie was aname given to me by a friend of hers. She has never done this type of thing before and again I had never met her till about 10mins before we shot these.

I have to admit I'm not keen on the tats but I suppose I also have to admit I'm probably too old to appreciate why anyone would want to do that to their body.

They're great photos though. Nice lighting, she poses very well and those eyes are fabulous!

I'm not so keen on the bottom picci as her stunning eyes are 'closed' and I can't even study her tattoos 'cos they're covered too.

BTW - I edited your post so the pictures are listed top to bottom rather than having to scroll sideways.

Must be an age thing but I cringe inside when I see a lady with tattoo's.
Having said that I really like the 3rd shot. My attention is drawn directly to her face and in particular her eyes.

Thank you both for the comments.

I knew they would not be to everyones taste. My wife told me that as well when I posted them To me tattoos are art and even more so if done well like these. Having said that I am not a fan of some you see and also those that just have them done to be cool and part of a crowd She is getting another one on Monday from what she told me I must agree she has cracking eyes which do draw you in. I went for one with the eyes closed as to me it always make me wonder what they are thinking if I see a photo like that Also shows a relaxed pose as well

You're gonna tell us YOU have tats, innit. So c'mon, don't be shy - giz a look at them.

Seriously though - I really like the mono version of her in the coat, the similar version to the one you showed here only with her amazing eyes open.

She's a very pretty girl and she knows how to pose well and also knows how to project an appropriate facial expression for various poses.

P.S ... Happy Birthday, Peter. I hope you have a good one.

Our eldest son's birthday is the 22nd of December so we've always celebrated that probably more so than Christmas, always had the family gathering on that day so he didn't lose out when he was a kid. We still have the 'extended family do' on his birthday. We never gave him a 'combined Xmas-Birthday prezzies, still don't so I hope you get the obligatory two lots of parcels and parties too.

I thought I would add two more. One of the ones Pol said about with her eyes open in the jacket shot

                    That's the one, thanks.

Both superb images though I think I prefer the mono because that lovely face and eyes hold my attention more, whereas the gorgeous colour of the jacket can distract me. (I love that jacket).

She's a pretty young lady with a very attractive face and compelling demeanour.

                      Hi

Great set. The composition and lighting are fantastic. I love the first one. The eye contact and the shape of the arms to display the body art is what sets it aside.

                      Best Regards

                        Thank you Josh

The lighting in all of these is done with the quadra ranger.

It is a very good bit of kit. I only have the one head kit and then only because it was a good deal. I had been shooting all natural light for a while but just wanted to get back into using off camera flash. I did not want to go down the flash gun route again and also wanted something that I could use indoor and out

Re: Georgie "not safe for work" tattoos

I like the first and the fourth. Like Pol, I do not like tattoos on men or women.

I think these are well done and are better than most, but this is someone else's art. To me it's like taking a photo of a statue or a sculpture.

I have seen hundreds at the Photography Club along with the most painful looking piercings. I just can't understand why people want to permanently damage themselves.

You can tell it's an age thing can't you.

As has been said your photography and lighting are excellent.
