Very nice. It also very clean and undamaged by wind, hail and mud splashes.

Why does everywhere else seem to have calm, dry weather whilst we're being battered by storms and half-drowned in mud?

Very nice Pops not a blemish and the light is still good for these late blooming flowers. My dahlias are still looking good,

These are in a sheltered position Pol. I have my share of battered plants and in fact it is raining and blowing right now.

Never ever have I grown dahlias and I don't know why. They are a lovely late blooming flower.

We're being drowned again as I type. It's been chucking it down all night and I fear we're in for another mud-bath over the coming weeks (months)

I used to grow Dahlias, had loads of them in the bed on the right side. I had to give up doing all that when I couldn't do the digging anymore then I also lost all the tubers one frosty winter. I also use to have Sweet Peas all along that fence on the right side. Chrysanths up the side of the house, Trailing Nasturtium along the other side and down the back of the old shed.

I just can't do what's needed for flowers these days and David's always been more of a Shrubs and Trees type.

That's a bloom to be proud of.
