    R.A.F. Duxford

    I visited my Daughter and her partner this last weekend, My eightieth was last Friday. On the Saturday they treated me and my wife to the Duxford Air show. My OMD-M-5 and the 40:150mm went with me.

    Many happy returns Escallonia.

    What a lovely birthday present. Lovely photos, but I particularly like the Vulcan as I organised a visit around the Vulcan in the its Hangar at Finningley earlier this year. It was very interesting.

      Thank you Audrey, yes the Vulcan is a wonderful aircraft especially in flight and I love the roar of it's engines I had a very enjoyable day. John.

        Cracking good shots, John. Congratulations on reaching another significant birthday too.

        Our second son is 39 today and moaning because he'll be 40 next year. I got fed up of his moaning so I told him he's only 35 and I'd lied about when he was born.

            Congratulations to your son Pol. I have thinking about what I was doing back in 1974 night work sorting mail on the travelling post office that now no longer exists. thanks for looking. regards John.
