I went over to Jersey last week to meet up with a facebook group of togs and models that I am in. The main event was a strobist evening but while over there which was only two days and one night I fitted in a boudoir shoot and a street shoot with two other local models. Here is a small set from each. I will post a link to my flickr site which has many more if you want to take a look.
All shot on the Fuji xpro1 and using one of these the 18mm 35mm and the 56mm lens. Some with natural light others with off camera flash which was a quadra ranger pack and one head.

Jessica is something special, especially in B/W. I especially like 'Jessica 4 of 2' the b/w version. Brilliant makeup which comes over as even more dramatic and memorable in B/W.

Again I had not met any of these ladies before the shoots and had only seen facebook photos of them. Jessica told me a few weeks ago on fb that she was having something special done make up wise and this is how she turned up to the meet
That's probably my favourite from the whole selection - super shot.
I think that style of make-up was what they used to use for the old b/w silent movies, the idea being to bring out the features on the old movies. Something along those lines iirc. It certainly works very well on the shots of Jessica.

I think you are right about that dark type of make up being used in the old movies due to the very stong lighting they used back than. Yes this shot does seem to be going down very well on facebook and also on my 500px site

My two cents worth: The first girl has ruined a wistful waif look with all her hardware. 2nd set looks really good, especially #3. 3rd set, the eyes are absolutly beatuiful. And the photography in all is good.

I do not mind people with piercings or tattoos as I feel it says something about the person but will agree it can runined a good look. I am looking for a model to help me with a shoot I have in mind but so far the odd few that have said they may be up for it have tats and piercings which really will not work with the pure look I need for the photo
