Looks like you are getting a shed load of rain. Same here
I'm that bored I said to the wife "Think I'll go and water the garden". She said put your coat on its raining.

I know the feeling only too well. Nice picci anyway, really.
It's been chucking it down 48hrs here without respite, still pelting down as I type. I'm fed up with the swings in temperature too. Too cold one minute so we turn up the heating, next minute it's hot and humid so we need fans blasting away.

I was bored enough to spend the time, while waiting for the tea to brew, to get the iPhone camera to focus where I wanted, rather that just let it do its thing.

So I upholstered my bedroom dressing table stool on Saturday and on Sunday I shortened the new curtains in the spare bedroom. I shall cover the old ottoman with the bit I cut off.
It also was raining here in Worksop, but I thoroughly enjoyed myself, just making myself do something constructive for a change.
Just been watching the Edinburgh Tattoo. We were there last week when it was photographed by the BBC. I never knew they got so close. He had a massive camera on a swing fastened to his waist and was walking backwards. I thought he might put the baton thrower off his stroke. Very interesting. I'm glad I/we went. I've wanted to go for years. It was also nice to see on TV, what we couldn't from where we were sitting. My memory card was full just as the Lone Piper was playing at the end, (too many videos!)
Got the washing dry today.

That sort of camera is called a 'Steadicam'. They can and sometimes do play havoc with the operator's back, as you can probably well imagine.Originally posted by Autumn View Post
