It was also a clever rainbow because it paced itself in a perfectly balanced location then doubled itself.

Well I did have to walk halfway across the lawn to get the silver birch lined up!
The faint double rainbow seems quite a common effect. It is a genuine shot though composed with Microsoft panorama tool from seven overlapping images
