At the Car Wash

With the recent high winds and high tides we had a few brave? folk who ran the gauntlet along Guernseys west coast, these had a free car wash (even a bus had a go) not sure if I would do this when you see the stones that get thrown up too>

Yikes, I certainly wouldn't wanna do it but It's good of them to do it so you could get the shots!

Those pics remind me of what happened in Dawlish when the railway line fell into the sea. Only the week before there was footage of the passing trains being covered by the same amount of spay those cars are getting.

Thanks Pol and Pops, it is normal for this in winter but not so much in summer, it was probably the tail end of the storm and the unusually high tides that gave us this event. I was betwixt two as our town seafront was also suffering from the high tide as it was coming on to the road and was also a great photographic event, I couldn't be in two places so I opted for this side if the island.
