Anne's birthday treat - a snapshot of our travels

    L-Għajn il-Kbira - The Big Spring
Arched shelters were built in the sixteenth century over the springs for the convenience of people when washing their clothes. A very old irrigation system made up from stone gutters constantly brings water from a spring situated in the Kerċem part of the valley.

    I used the OM-D E-M1 + 12-40 lens for all pictures taken - most settings in A.mode f2.8+ iso 200+ etc.

The camera performed quite brilliantly, so much so I will post a second set later this week.

I hope you enjoyed our Malta travels and didn't get side tracked with the various links.

    Regards. Barr1e

Malta certainly looks interesting and we nearly went there for my 50th birthday but we went to Venice in the end because it was a lot less money. Cyprus was also comparatively expensive. I'd certainly like to visit Malta (and Cyprus) one day.
