Just spent over a fortnight looking after the grandchildren. Although the weather was cold and a little wet where we were it didn't stop the trips out.
These were taken at Eagle Heights, Eynsford - wildlife sanctuary. As the large bird display got underway it was met with a hailstorm!
I just took the Olympus Stylus1 as they don't like the big toys we go out with. Considering the conditions I think the camera did a remarkable job.

Bald Eagle and it was a very large bird.

I'm so pleased with a bumper crop of replies - thanks so much.

I am also happy that the camera is performing better than my expectations, having said that it is an Olympus.
