My favourite just has to be the last but one, the couple waiting at the bus stop! That picci speaks 1000 words for me ... I love it.

Lucky I noticed I hadn't inserted the last one when I originally posted these

The 3rd held me for a while but the mono is my favourite. The chap seems quite content to sit there while the lady is anxious for the bus to turn up.

I do wonder if I am doing myself a disservice by lumping all these in one thread. On the one hand I am pleased about the variety I managed to eek out from the day's opportunities but it just might be too much in one place with each image competing for attention with the others. What do you think?

I think maybe there are too many competing with each other on this occasion. I say that because there's a wide variety of 'scattered' images rather than a sequence eg a sequence of a walk between two points such as Marble Arch to Regent Street or whatever.

BTW the 'Poland Street' picci intrigues me. Is that a dead or bedraggled Bird or did some woman lose her Fascinator headpiece thingy when the wind blew it off her head?

I can see where did you started. The second one was meant to get into the mood, right?...Very nice set of pictures. I like most the 3rd and 9th. The women look worried, the man looks relaxed. I do like the quantity and the variety.

Like them all the bird shot is a strange one, happy with them all in one post. I tend to go up and down looking back on shots. Prefer that to opening two or three posts and as you just want to share them I do not see any problem.

Your pictures will never get as much specific attention when posted in a thread like this as they would if posted individually, but I do like this type of walk-about thread; all the more so when it contains as much variety as this.
My favourite is No 4, the bottles in the ice bucket; I am impressed with the DOF control of the Stylus.

The "Poland Street" shot with the dead bird intrigues me - Is it somewhat symbolic, bearing in mind the Eagle emblem on the Polish flag? It's the sort of "sign" I'd love to see just before we were due to play Poland at football!

A photograph is more than a record of what you see - it's a window to your soul
