Lonely tree

Anne and I were photographing Red Kite today and the birds were enjoying the sunny weather, soaring high almost out of reach. All was not lost though, Anne managed to capture a pretty good image of one and I bagged a couple that are just about reasonable.

A tree rather took my eye and my boots got clogged down in the mud as I trudged across the field to get the pic. I hope I have done justice to her.

That's a splendid tree with a wonderful branch structure. It just begs to be photographed.
