  • fields of Gold....

    ....or strictly speaking Winter Aconites at Little Ponton Hall. On a perfect day weatherwise I made a visit to a rare open day at this charming country seat of the McCorquodales family in South Lincolnshire. If anything the low Winter sun was a little too contrasty for good photography so I grasped the mantle and used HDR1 on the E-M1 for all but one of the shots, hand held.

      An uplifting selection.
      No5 stands out for me. Lovely composition, so much to see and the hdr effect is just enough.
