.....for the next few days so was pleased we took advantage of a sunny day, albeit rather cool earlier on. So just three from our towpath tours.
Kingfisher (female) in the sun and tucked away in the brambles/hedge

Moorhens kissing pleasing to see this courtship rather than them using those large feet to fight.

Alpaca moved from a nearby farm to this field which is close to the canal and railway lines. Fortunately the railway company have recently erected some good metal fencing and obviously this suits the farmer and the herd. I hope they are not good swimmers as they have access to the canal which is only a few metres in width with shallow banks and I'm sure the villagers wouldn't be too pleased.
