Getting fed up of this dark dismal weather so I tried setting up with the wireless remote shutter and activated the in camera flash. Shutter propriety at 1600.

I gather it is quite a common technique used in wildlife photography under difficult conditions where it's more important to get the shot than to get a most natural result.
