Re: A couple of Christmassy shots from London's South Bank
About as up to date as mine Pol. After all I only ever use it in emergencies. These smart phones are state of the art technological contraptions. I would not trust myself with one in case I pressed the wrong button and launched myself into orbit.Regards Ron. Live each day as if it was your last. One day you will be right. Down sized to Nikon s7000 compact camera.

I know what you mean!
Two of my sons have smartphones, one has an iPhone (he's the geek of the family, always has to have the latest contraption).
Another son is a news reporter and his paper gave all the reporters Samsung smartphones and Dell laptops. The downside is that they have to be available at all times and they're also expected to use the smartphones to grab and send pics in to accompany the articles and reports. The 'free laptops and snartphones' are like a ball and chain to them so it's probably not surprising they tend to have 'iffy battery problems' with them.

When these "voice controlled" phones first came out, a friend got one and was showing off what it could do, when some wag shouted "Search PORN"...Originally posted by Pops View PostMy daughters phone is from a different planet I reckon. She talks to the dam thing and it does what she tells it. Even the dogs aren't so obedient.

He had to do a Factory Reset to get rid of all the downloaded content.
