Re: Local Canal Basin
They're all very impressive imho. Superb colours, very true to life, excellent definition too.
In the middle picci, I was impressed by the detail and definition on those white gates across the water. Even on this tiny lappy I can see all the details and separation no bother. All of the images good and sharp too, especially the writing in the last one.
You must surely be pleased with those! Neat little camera giving very good results very handy to keep in a pocket.

Thanks for that Pol, very encouraging.
Its a bit awkward to handle and very restricted settings wise but it will do to slip in the pocket or even leave in the car.
Can't grumble for a freebie

Re: Local Canal Basin
If it's awkward to handle because it's very small, try keeping the wrist strap (cord) on your wrist at all times then there's less risk of it slipping out of your hand.Originally posted by Pops View PostThanks for that Pol, very encouraging.

Another suggestion - try snapping shots with it when you're a passenger in a car. I have a hunch you might be pleasantly surprised by the resulting shots. I suspect they'll be crisp and sharp once you get used to the handling as you travel along.
My Leica C-lux 2 is tiny - but it grabs amazing shots even when I use it as we're travelling along. It never misses since I got used the handling and the speed with which it grabbed and processed the shots.
Try the above suggestion with the camera on Landscape mode and see what happens.

Nice Pops, love the low angle of view in the first one.
