  • Technicolour sky

While on my Northumbrian coastal trip I was much engaged in photographing birds but had intended to get a bit of landscape in as well. However the light in the main was very flat which resulted in a conspicuous lack of any outstanding scenes. As a last resort I tried a few Art filters on the E-M1 to see if anything could be extracted from the greyness and caught this coppice against a slightly coloured sky greatly enhanced using the Pop Art filter. A bit psychedelic but I like it:

    The ducks are mainly Wigeon.

    With Leica 145-150mm

Very moody, well worth the trouble.
