Re: A few vintage planes (bandwidth warning)
That's a very nice collection, Huw - looks like you had excellent weather on the day. It always amazes me how these old aircraft are kept flying and presented so beautifully.

Re: A few vintage planes (bandwidth warning)
Thanks Ian, yes the weather was pretty much perfect. T shirt weather really and luckily the wind was favourable for some of the older aircraft. The Avro Triplane flew last.Originally posted by Ian View PostThat's a very nice collection, Huw - looks like you had excellent weather on the day. Here's another which I had intended to upload earlier, an SE5a lit by a setting sun helping to show the wing structure.

Re: A few vintage planes (bandwidth warning)
Thanks for sharing - a great set of images. They're all excellent, but I really liked the last of the first set where you've caught reflections in the bodyworkcarolannphotos.smugmug.com / webleedmusicmedia.com

Very nice shots Huw, nice to see the blur on the propellers. They are all good shots, my favourite is the Sea hurricane beautiful three point landing. Amazing detail and clarity. Hope you enjoyed your time spent there, and thanks for posting. regards John.

Thank you John, we really enjoyed the day at the shuttleworth Flying Day and as you say I aimed to try and catch prop blur in each image, I'm not a fan of frozen propsOriginally posted by escallonia View PostVery nice shots Huw, nice to see the blur on the propellers. They are all good shots, my favourite is the Sea hurricane beautiful three point landing.
