    Egyptian Goose

    One of a pair that seem to have taken up residence on a local lake. They were busy chasing off Mallards and didn't notice how close they were getting to me. They were just turning away when they saw me but I managed a few shots, however not a very difficult wildlife subject.

          Yes John, I only use a tripod if I'm manual focusing with a legacy/non-native lens. This was with the 7D and 400mm - no IS.
