  • Moody lake landscape at Castle Leslie

Taken from a boat crossing from one side of the lake at Castle Leslie to the other.

    Olympus OM-D E-M1, m.Zuiko 17mm f/1.8, @f/5.6, ISO 250, 1/160th. Quite a lot of tonal and colour processing in Lightroom 5 for this one!

Nice camera, nice lens, nice picci and great processing.

I like what you did with the sky, keeping it a 'lifelike' grey and the colours and tones of the trees are looking very good against that sky.

So did you dip the camera in the water to test the seal ... or might that have knackered that nice lens?

        No, but Olympus did:

The camera was regularly splashed by horses cantering past in the water and then it was pressed into action wirelessly to take shots using an iPad

Yeah I knew that, saw the reviews.

I was just teasing, wondering if you'd been tempted to dip it in the drink yourself to see what happened. Y'know the situation when 'naughty temptation' tugs and tugs until it gets the better of you.
