  • Sultry bathroom scene!

Not really my normal environment for photography it has to be said! This was with the m.Zuiko 17mm f/1.8, ISO 400, 1/50th in one of the E-M1 press introduction sets at Castle Leslie.

Processed in Lightroom 5 from a camera JPEG. No colour adjustments, just cropping, tone and added some vignette. Also removed some unwanted objects - hope you can't see where!

She looks glamorous posed between the drapes but the other props are quite drab.

      Actually - it's a real bathroom

We were at Castle Leslie (most famous for where Paul McCartney married Heather Mills about ten years ago) just south of the Northern Ireland border.

The Victorian building (there isn't really a castle) is a hotel and is fitted out with antique furnishings to the extreme - no TVs in the rooms for example! My room had a very long bathtub - the type you can lie in and not feel the ends! It also had a rather weird loo with an almost square wooden loo seat and no lid! One of the other journalists had a room with two loos next to each other; no divider!

Anyway the room where this shoot was set up was a large room with the bath on the plinth plus drapes - all in one room with the bed and wardrobe.
