  • Catch that pigeon!

Been testing my skills at BIF today:

I am not very good but by the laws of chance I can occasionally get some decent shots

So what was the kids cartoon where the 'air aces' were trying to catch the pigeon. I remember a sniggering dog called Mutley in it.

Well done our Ian, very nice shots.

I like Wood Pigeoins, they're so sedate and often obliging posers. I never caught one in flight, though we did nurse an injured one back to health one time. It lived in the greenhouse until it recovered.

It wasn't Wacky Races, I remember that one with Penelope Pitstop, Dick Dastardly and Mutley. There was a (spin off?) show where Dick Dastardly was the leader of a bunch of pilots trying to catch a carrier Pigeon. They never caught it and always crashed their planes.

Googling, it was called Dastardly and Muttley in their Flying Machines although the theme tune was 'Stop that Pigeon' which made people think that was the title of the show.
