    Brimstones tend to have two emerging/flying seasons. Being one of the first Butterflies to emerge in Spring they are a familiar sight in gardens and hedgerows but the also have an emerging in late Summer, and yesterday there were several around on our local hedge banks:

        Two fantastic shots, but I keep going back to the second shot where the detail is amazing: I never realised they were so fluffy
