Yesterday was the first day this year that Dragonflies were around i even small numbers. It was very warm so they were all actively hunting making it difficult to track any down to photograph. However the males tend to have a territorial "sentry post" and if you can locate this then you are half way there. They tend to have very acute eyesight and lightning reactions so stealth is essential to get close enough for a decent shot. these were taken with the 60mm macro on the E-M5 so I had to get really close, the 75-300mm would possibly have been a better option.
