  • Chloe in my make shift studio

    Hi everyone

I have told you all about the little studio I set up in a spare room a few weeks ago. Well here are a few more photos taken in there today. I saw Chloe on a facebook page a few weeks ago and asked her if she want to help me out with a shoot in my make shift studio. She was happy to help out and I loved her style and look. So this is what we came up with. Many more on my flickr page if anyone wants to have a look.

Yay, these are superb! I love them!

You found yourself an excellent model there and I agree wholeheartedly about her style!! She's a star and you did a wonderful job working together as a team to bring out the best of your individual talents and styles.

    Great job, Peter. Well done!

      Thanks Pol

As soon as I saw her I just knew I had to try and get her in the studio. her style is something I have not shot before. Also I know people sometimes shy away from people with studs and strange styles but you could not me a nicer young lady.

Naah, she's not the sort to shy away from. She has a lovely face, a face that conveys a certain 'softness' and kindness of character. I also love her hair with the red streaks and the makeup is fantastic.

She comes over as altogether amazing. Is she professional or maybe semi-professional ... either as a makeup artist or a model?

no far from it Pol. she is wanting to go to uni from what i have seen her post or where ever it is you go to learn about the make up side of things. she does it all herself and also what she wears she gets a lot of that off the net. as for the model side of things again no far from it. she has done stuff for a friend in a spare room just to show off her make up but I am pretty sure I am one of the first to shoot her anything like this.

Interesting. Way back in the 60s I worked with a Rheumatologist who had started out with many qualifications in theatre makeup and theatre costume design. She was a delightful lady, a dedicated Opera fan and always looking forward to the next Glyndebourne Season.

He mother had nagged her to study something more 'useful' and to get a 'proper job and career' so she'd gone off to get herself a medical degree. She still carried on with the costume design and remained involved in theatre and operatic work throughout her life. A lovely lady with endless talents.

I know for a fact 'Mary' would've loved those pics as well as Chloe's style and ambitions. It was Mary who drummed it into me that I shouldn't weaken and listen to my mother who insisted I should cut off my long hair and have a bubble perm. She used to say she adored her mother but she should've left her alone to 'live the life she most enjoyed in the theatres and opera houses ... LOL

I can certainly envisage Chloe making an impact in her chosen career too.

I wonder how many people have done just that and got a proper job only for us to miss out on there skills one way or another ?? Live your dreams they say but for most of us its a case of pay the bills and hope you can at least try and keep that dream alive I hope she does get a break because in the short time I have know her I can see she loves what she does and seems to do it well
