Re: Have your tomatoes ripened
We don't grow them anymore, not since we got rid of the greenhouse. We got fed up with the greenhouse being damaged in gales. My favourites for the greenhouse used to be Alicante.
Yours are looking good and tempting though!

Re: Have your tomatoes ripened
Morning Pol sorry to hear that you don't grow them, The wind is a problem I left the door open one night and in the morning I found four or five glass panels had been broken so a lesson learned!! This year I am growing Gardeners delight in the polytunnel and Cherry in the green house.Originally posted by Pol View PostWe don't grow them anymore, not since we got rid of the greenhouse. Re: Have your tomatoes ripened
Grafted plants have a known variety grafted to a vigorous root stock. I get mine from a nursery, they are ready to go and are about a foot high when seeds I have sown are at two inch size. I have got better and faster crops each year. Some ' experts' claim there is no advantage?
I grew Gardeners delight and Elegance this year
