  • Three Butterflies

We decided on a Thai pub lunch today and as Anne (Ann1e) had things to do in town I walked a few miles along the canal path before meeting up for a tasty meal - a lunchtime special.
Much movement with the canal boats as summer seems to be in full swing, the usual birds with young and not much else.

About half a mile to the destination I saw some small wings fluttering hither and thither - here are just three from the day.

Red Admiral landed for seconds - one happy person.

Meadow Brown just as I pressed the button a small draught of wind lifted it slightly.

Comma Always pleased to see these pretty wings.

    Re: Three Butterflies

Your lucky to have captured 3 different ones. They seem very scarce this year.

Lovely set, Barrie, you have a great way of photographing butterflies.

Some good shots Barrie. I really like the summer months as you do. My favourite is the Comma. Regards John.
