    That is very colourful, Barr1e.

My first thought is . It would be nice to spend a few hours there with a tri-pod and a macro lens.

It must be alive with bugs and insects.

Beautiful meadow. Good composition and perfect lighting. Morning time is best for meadow photography. Because in the morning time, there is no wind to ruin your photograph making it blurry.

        Thanks for your comments.

Anne and I timed our visit or so we thought.

The wind started up after our arrival which was a nuisance as we wanted to photograph butterflies - also a funeral which was timed for fifteen minutes after we arrived.

It is on our list to visit again.

I often think how beautiful the world would be if us interfering humans vanished from this earth. Nature has some very colourful ways of dressing this planet.

Locally we have a nice bit of ground which was purchased years ago by a man who loved nature. In the 13 years that I had my dog I walked her around his ground almost every day. He left it for the local children to explore and learn the wonders of nature. Now maintained by voluntary work groups its a lovely place for seeing nature as raw as it gets. Hope barr1e don't mind me hijacking his post but here are a few pics of Sid's Piece. My winning entry to the last Salon was taken here too.
