Very nice captures, your very good at this type of photography. Something I have never mastered. Still learning even at my age.
Seen many around here but never captured an image of one. Also seen the remains of their captures. IE garden covered in feathers. We have what I believe to be a Buzzard soring above our home just lately. Job to say for sure if I have got that one right.Last edited by Rodbender; 14-05-20, 09:58 AM.Regards Ron. Live each day as if it was your last. One day you will be right. Down sized to Nikon s7000 compact camera.

Stunning captures, Mike. A lovely male bird. He obviously had a good strike. Cant make out what the bird is, that he is carrying.
You must have been relatively close for these. Yes ?Canon 7D 50D 400D Canon 300mm f4 L IS Canon 70 - 200 f2.8 L IS Sigma 150 - 500 f6.3 OS Sigma 50mm f1.4

Some cameras like the Olympus emd1 range and Panasonic G9 are still up to it with a bit more effort but they don't match the evf refresh rate speed of an optical viewfinder of a DSLR, i sold my Nikon Z50 just before lockdown as the sigma 100-400 i used on it was imo not fast enough mechanically.Originally posted by Rodbender View PostWhy has going mirrorless made a difference? Aren't the new Nikons fast regards shutter lag.
I now use or would do if i could get out the G9 and 100-400,
