  • Trying out my Nikon S7000

I have decided to sell most of my photographic gear and downsize to just my pocket Nikon S7000. Panasonic now up for sale with all its add on bits and bobs. So here are a few of the woodpecker that called to see us today. Taken hand held through the window so probably could be better.

All cracking shots Ron. I don't have such a great view - as my office is at the front of the house I keep the blinds drawn because I can only see a ribes and the house next door anyway. I can only see a bit of the garden if I lean back!

Thanks Caz. We are very lucky as we are surrounded by good countryside views. Lots of trees and wildlife.

Thanks Barr1e, the large one is a handmade clay job which was handed down to us. Never seen any others quite like it.

For a small camera. It packs a punch.

I can see the advantage of having a camera like this.

Produces some cracking images and can be slipped into your pocket.

You have shown its capabilities well, Ron.

Thanks Garry. I will sure miss my Panasonic which has now sold and will be collected today sometime. Not wishing to blow my own trumpet they do say good equipment don't make you a good photographer. You know my past and I have had many years now (since I was 7 years old) to learn how to do it. My favourite saying, Age is just a measure of experience and I have both.
