Mouse Monitor amongst the Buttercups

Having spent several days granddaughter sitting last week with lots of spare time Ann1e and I photographed lots.

I spotted one of the cats on look out duty - they respond to one another when mousing. At this particular moment the count was three - the mornings tally was five. She is not a happy cat as the tail wags constantly, perhaps mum catches the lions share. Pleased I'm just far enough away from the countryside, although we do see the odd rat along the canal.

They always look so fed up wearting those collars.

The collars supplied by vets are rather uncomfortable due to their rigidity. You can buy softer ones from any decent pet store which is what we did when Suzie had to wear one. It was tolerated much better than the vet issue one.
