  • They let me out.

Yes after six weeks of being shut in, enough is enough. I had even forgot how to turn my camera on. Went to Diss so the wife could do some long needed shopping and right next to the store is this beautiful lake. Took camera and while she was shopping went and sat by the lake and took over a 100 pics. There's no stopping me ounce I get going. So sit back and let me bore you all stiff with the results of a trigger happy chappie. 5 for now and more to follow tomorrow.

Forgot how to use your camera ?

        These are super, Ron.

The background in the first Pigeon shot is weird. It makes my eyes go funny. Not a criticism. I have seen backgrounds like that before, when filters are used. Would that be the case here ?

No filters used, its just a pea gravelled path.

Is this the lake, that I have seen in another place, Ron ? Where you fished ? I don't remember the railings.

            Cant see the stitching either.

No not the same lake Garry. I have fished this lake once but it is not very deep till you get out 6 or more yards. Even then its not that deep. Was told there are carp in there but I only see a few tiddlers being caught. Two many ducks and gulls to fish seriously. Nice to sit by and take a few pics. When the weather is nice the wife leaves me there while she walks up the town and gets her bits and bobs. Image was produced in camera and was the first time I have use the panorama mode. Not bad as you say, no stich errors either. Also tried the B&W setting, something I don't normally like to do as I like to be in control.
Just playing with it to see what I have been missing, but am now going to sell it along with some other photographic gear. At 82 I can't see me using it much. I have a small Nikon compact so will make do with that.

Certainly takes a nice photo. Colours look very good. Very realistic.
