  • Finally after 3 years of trying

    I have been trying every summer for the past 3 years to try and get a non blurred ,dot on the horizon type shot of the House Martins that visit each year.Bl***y frustrating.
    Finally got this one.

          Aren't they just.I think this year they've taken pity on me by coming down to ground level.
          Unusually the ones we have at the moment are coming down to the driveway every morning and sitting just on the grass verge.Never seen this before.

            Well done. you lucky so and so!

            We had a nest under the eaves but rarely managed to see them, let alone get any pictures.

                  Excellent shot, not jealous at all - I got a couple of fledglings peeking out of the nest a few years ago but struggle as my longest lens is a 70-200mm

                    Pol we've got six nests under the eaves but each year the number of Martins visiting is getting fewer.
