My wife bought me an inexpensive telescope for Valentine's Day. The tripod is pretty useless so I mounted it on one of my better ones. I then set my iPhone 11 Max Pro on the eyepiece. Lining up both the telescope and the iPhone proved too much of a challenge but I was able to capture a few shots. This one shows the most detail.

The telescope cost less than $30 at Aldi’s grocery store. I may try again tonight and use the 2x lens of the phone.If you're not living on the edge you're taking up too much room.

Google Aldi telescopes. They were on sale March 5th. and may still be for £79.99 free delivery. They do look good value and if I was into this kind of hobby I would give one serious consideration.Regards Ron. Live each day as if it was your last. One day you will be right. Tried again early evening. Used the 2x lens and just held the phone to the telescope’s eyepiece.
