It is. :-) Beautiful piece of kit, best machine I have ever had, having said that it is the first one since the 80s that I have not built myself. Trying to convince the missus I need a new one but falling on deaf ears. :-)

I am still umming and ahhhing about rebuidling my office desktop - it's now seriously under-powered (2.8GHz AMD Athlon X2 5600+ and 4GB RAM running Windows 7 pro) - my laptop's Core i7 CPU benchmarks at 5x faster

Thinking of an AMD Piledriver FX-8350 and 16GB RAM plus SSD and a new nVidia graphics cards to accelerate Adobe Premiere.

Ah - it's a smaller than average mug and fits more comfortably under the espresso nozzles than a normal size one

I'm currently finding the decent instant coffee I normally drink (Nescafe Alta Rica) horrendously expensive so I have largely switched to ground coffee and espresso, especially. Costco sells very good value large packs of Lavazza. It's a bit of a faff to clean the machine all the time compared to instant, but it's a nicer result for about the same cost. Next step could be to grind my own beans but grinding for espresso needs the right grinder and these don't come particularly cheap. A friend has also tried roasting his own beans!

Ian, I know you don't need to be told but the i7 really is a superb processor, now whether it is that much better than an i5 is open to debate. My Alienware is coming up for 3 years old now and it is hard to convince the missus that I need a new one! My time will come :-)

On coffee, Lavazza is good, Illy is the dogs bollox though.

Tea is amazingly good value compared to coffee - around a penny a tea bag. I reckon the coffee I drink costs around 12-15p a cup by comparison.

But to me coffee is a much more rewarding experience and I don't drink either with milk, just sugar.
