I was waiting for ages for a Spotted Flycatcher to come closer when this beauty popped out of the undergrowth onto a small tree which was almost in some water and just a couple of feet of the surface.

Beautiful shot, almost 3D. The bird just pops out of the page as it perches there on the branch.
