        Really enjoying your photos, Thai-mike.

The last set look like some type of wasp. Any idea what exactly ?

Yes, Mike. We have had 4 Great Danes in total. Lovely animals, but they have short lives unfortunately. We wont be having any more.

Your drinking wasp looks a lot different to my drinking wasp, Thai-Mike.

You wouldn't get me this close to one of those... ok with wasp stings, but allergic to hornets! Had a bad reaction whilst on holiday in France many years ago and now it's on my medi alert bracelet along with my other main allergy - live tetanus.

We get them quite regularly. Dam big frightening things. Usually catch them in a glass and slide a bit of card over the glass top. Take them outside and send them on their way.

One of my cats, Bonnie, this morning with her "you have Marmite? where's mine!" face.

Someone said that she didn't know that cats liked Marmite - yeast extract or something similar is used in hairball treats and she loves those.
