The 'moulins' de Mouilleron-Saint-Germain

This is an old windmill (moulin) not far from where we are staying in the Sud Vendée.

It's not cold here but it has been windy and showery. There are a couple of old disused windmills here but the nearby town is famous because a former president and a former national hero general were born there.

The windmill no longer operates. There is no power used or generated. It's just like a museum
