Sparky, two dogs and bridge 145

We went out in glorious weather today to take some winged animals. Unfortunately they were doing the same thing, away from home soaring the skies looking for new adventures no doubt.

We did take our first butterfly of the year, a Peacock - sitting in mud taking the suns rays to warm its young body. Not good enough to show.

So, I needed to post something and here are some from last week's canal walk.

The first two using one of the art modes of the able Olympus Stylus XZ-10.
The last taken with the Olympus E-5 and 70-300 lens - super combination IMO.

Interesting! We all have different preferences and I personally don't like the effect on the second image but I think the glow works brilliantly in the first one - emphasising the 'electrical' aspect of the pylon.
