Distant Marsh Harrier

While in a hide yesterday I saw this Marsh Harrier hunting over flooded grassland for about an hour on and off. It never came closer than 150 metres and was difficult to see with the naked eye, especially as it merged well with the dead vegetation. I only picked it up because a few hundred birds suddenly took flight from the water as it passed over. Did my best to photograph it and considering the distance I am fairly pleased with the greatly cropped result.

This appears to be a young female - lacking the pale forewing patches but I could be wrong. An adult male was also present for a couple of minutes.
