Did you take these this year, Andy? We planted crocuses and snowdrops last autumn but they haven't flowered yet.

As you know the area the Snowdrops are at Theydon Garnon church which is just off the Theydon to Abridge road and the Crocus is at St John's Buckhurst Hill. I keep an eye of what's growing at these places at this time of year

        Yep taken this morning.

Anne spotted some daffodils whilst we were out today and after our failed errand forgot to return to photograph them. They certainly brightened up the roadside.

Daffs in mid-January! We were in Cork (Ireland) this time last year (that could be 2 years ago, actually!) and the daffs were out in force in the Blarney Castle grounds.

Our bulbs are stil only showing leavs - no flower buds yet.
