Hello Pops this winter seems to go on for ever at least it's dry at the moment but the east wind is bitter. Regards John.

This particular winter has been going on for more than a year and I'm beginning to despair of seeing summer flowers ever, again.

The Ribes is out but the spring flowers are mosty flattened, bent or broken.

It's not so dry our end of Kent. We had snow most of the night and this morning though it's stopped now (for a few minutes). It's not deep, just a dusting, but it's bitterly cold - raw, biting wind.

Nobody is moving out there I don't blame them!
