  • The worst bird photo I've ever published....

    But i've been trying to get a shot of a Cetti's Warbler for four years. A rare breeding bird in the UK but less scarce in Southern Europe, it is shy and skulking and inhabits dense reed beds or thickets. I've only ever seen a few fleeting half glimpses in those four years made even more frustrating as it advertises it's presence only a few yards away by an explosive "Chewitt..chewitt...". I finally got a few "record" shots a couple of days ago and am rather pleased with myself, so despite the poor quality I had to share one:




    Canon 7D plus EF 400mm f5.6L
