  • Scenes from India I: portraits in Varanasi.

In my recent and exhilarating trip to India, I took more than 5000 pictures during 25 days. COuld have been many more. Country of color, religion and people. I will share with you many of them in due time. I wish to start with some portraits and street pictures, taken in the sacred city of Varanasi.

Horatio, I like all of the pictures but "rowing man' is really nice and "young sadus boy bathing" is exceptional..

I find them all fascinating. Religion obviously plays a huge part in their lives and it shows.

        Hi Horacio -

You must have had such an exciting trip judging your work below.

I have always enjoyed your art and this set is absolutely superb. I wished I had been there.

This is perhaps the best I have seen for a while, from the third down has excited Anne and I very much.

They tell the story as it is.

I'm pleased you will be posting more.

        Regards. Barr1e
