  • Red Kite

I took many pix of Red Kite today but only kept two which were worthy of keeping. The one below is the better of the two. The weather was bright for just an hour of so with fast moving clouds hence the poor keeper rate.

Beautiful birds although my brother in law tells me that they aren't just carrion eaters and will take the odd (baby?) rabbit or gosling, etc.

Have you seen any buzzards locally?

Nice shot, Barr1e. Inflight shots are always quite hard going. It isn't unusual for the keepers to be a low percentage. But this shot would have made it worth while.
