I needed to upload this picture I took about 6 or 7 years ago and it still remains one of my favorites.

    Re: Theft from Brushcreek

Please forgive my ignorance but I am not sure at all of what I am seeing here.
I can make out what appears to be branches and the whole thing looks very intriguing and very well lit but I'm sorry to admit that I need some more info to get an understanding

I like the colours, not sure about composition, though. It looks like a length of material in water to me.

Pops...Kurt...At the time there was to be a plein air for artists on a creek here in Kansas City. The night before it stormed and poured rain. When I got to the creek there was nobody there and the only sign of any artistry was this canvas, about 40 feet long (guessing) which had been painted colorfully, it was tied off to a stanchion onshore and lay on the water. As the wind would blow, making waves which would go under the canvas and undulate. It was quite nice. I took the picture, didn't know the artist, hence the name "Theft from Brushcreek".

I like that - there's lots to look at.
