I find these hard to capture as they are always on the move and the white keeps burning out...and this is the easy female....

      A real cracker.
Judging by the water trail there is one just ahead of her as well

        Thanks both.....

"almost has a foxy face?"...........well spotted...I will always think that when I see them now.....

...Yes it was one of the Males...they tend to spend all day following each other around...great in the winter as it keeps the ice away....
I got a shot with him in front but lost 1/2 of her though..

Well captured, Keith and what a great comment from Carol about the foxy face!

                  Thanks everyone......

It has taken months to get these...the light is always "wrong"...in other words I was unable to get the right exposure to get the darks and more importantly not burn the whites...the Male is a right b***** to capture.

David - do I remember you using a adapter to be able to used the 4/3rds lenses on the Canon ? Or was it just the micro ones......I am finding it difficult to find such an adapter and would like to use my Oly ones - even though it would only be MF.
                  Thanks

Sorry keith it is the other way round, I have an adapter to use Canon fit lenses on the E-M5 (400mm f5.6 gives superb results). Because of the reduced dimensions it is possible to get an adapter to fit almost every other lens to m4/3, but I have searched for a 4/3 to EF without success.
