  • A rather sheepish snow puss

This is Cindy (14 months old) up a snowy tree for the first time in our back garden. Problem is she is stuck after trying to get back down and discovering that snow on weeping willow tree branches is rather slippery!

    Taken from an upstairs window:

I had to get the ladder out. And yes, I was scratched - was there any gratitude? Hah!

These were taken using the Samsung Galaxy Camera I currently have to evaluate.

Cat in distress ... don't worry I'll get it down after I have photographed it

Hope the scratches heal quick. They can be real nasty from a cat.

The expression on her face is priceless and the thought of you having to climb up to rescue her and get scratched for your efforts has me creased!

Something similar happened here when Gussy (Augustus) was a kitten. She used to spend her days chasing squirrels until she followed one way up to the top of the Sycamore! She wasn't even our cat but we spent hours coaxing her down. She finally came down far enough to get herself stuck on the top of a swaying conifer until David finally prodded her down with a clothes prop balanced on top of a ladder. It cured her of chasing squirrels up trees!

Cats! The most useless animals on the planet but you just have to love them!
